Waypoints’ Mission and Values
Our team prioritizes an equitable, inclusive approach to ensure the highest level of services for clients and their families as they navigate life’s twists and turns.
Waypoints is explicitly supportive of neurodiversity and focused on individualized changes to the environment to help support learning.
What We Believe
When people are supported by their environment, they are better able to learn skills and display what they’ve learned. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of human behavior and is the industry standard for implementing skill-building programs for children and youth who’ve been diagnosed with autism. Everyone deserves the support and tools they need to pursue their goals! This is why we emphasize providing a safe environment and honoring self-advocacy in pursuit of clients learning communication skills, social skills, executive functioning, and any other skills that will help improve their quality of life. The actions we take in pursuit of our company’s goals can be found in our strategic plan.
Diversity Matters to Us
Life is a journey, and not everyone’s trip looks the same. We are committed to the neurodiversity movement, and our focus is on creating an environment of belonging and support for everyone, no matter what. Our team is made up of a variety of unique staff members with a myriad of experiences from many backgrounds. Our practices emphasize non-discrimination with respect to sex, age, race, religion, physical disability, military services, family status, national origin, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
